Youth & Community
Our grant funded programmes are delivered in the East End of Newcastle Upon Tyne with bases in both Byker and Walker. We run our youth and community groups for both adults and young people.
Our mission is to provide a safe space where people feel accepted and valued for exactly who they are, no matter what, as they build the confidence to chase their dreams.
Our Communities
We operate from bases in Byker and Walker, located in east end of Newcastle Upon Tyne. After relocating to the Byker Wall Estate in 2017, we began offering a range of adult and youth activities.
Foundation Futures CIO 1188809 was founded in 2020 to address the growing and complex needs of our communities. Our work is responsive to the needs and interests of our community, with members being actively involved in funding decisions. We prioritise listening to our communities by gathering feedback during sessions and holding events, making sure we are responsive to their voices.
Currently, we support and provide meals for approximately 60 young people and 20 adults each week.

Youth Provision
Our youth panel ensures that the young people we support are at the absolute heart of everything we do. Made up of passionate individuals from across our programmes, the panel meets regularly to share their ideas, reviews our current projects and help design our future activities. By giving our youth a direct voice in the decision making process, we don't just create services for them, we build them with them. It's a space where they can develop genuine leadership skills, grow in confidence and actively shape the future of Foundation Futures.
The young people who take part in our Youth Groups are at the heart of everything we do. We know it's important that they are understood and have their voices heard. When we apply for funding our youth panel are involved throughout taking part in planning, researching and writing applications.
In response to the needs of our community and in partnership with our Youth Panel, our youth provision now supports children and young people aged 5-25 years.

Adult Provision
Our Adult Provision operates with a true open-door policy, creating a warm, non judgemental space where any individual in our community can find a friendly face and immediate support. We are here to offer steady guidance through life's challenges, whether that means navigating complex personal hurdles, combatting isolation, or rediscovering self-confidence. Beyond our relaxed wellbeing groups and practical skill building sessions, our team provides advocacy ensuring our adults are, heard valued, and fully supported to access the resources they need to thrive and realise their full potential.
