Senior Youth Club panel

Our Youth Panel

Our Youth Panel help us make important decisions about what kind of clubs to run, what activities to deliver as well as helping us write funding bids.

We don't presume to know what young people want or need, they are the experts, we think they are amazing.

Youth & Community
Programmes

Our grant funded programmes are delivered in the East End of Newcastle Upon Tyne with bases in both Byker and Walker. We run our youth and community groups for both adults and young people.

Our mission is to promote positive change by providing safe spaces and safe faces to transform lives.

Our Community Panels

Although all of our staff have some lived experience, we've always felt everything we deliver in the community should be led by them too.

This incredible group of women "tell us how it is" and how they'd like it to be! They help us set the direction of the organisation, apply for funding and even run activities and programmes. Here are some of our Community Heroes.

We have bases in Byker and Walker in the east end of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

After moving into the Byker Wall Estate in 2017 we began delivering a variety of youth activities. Foundation Futures created a sister charity (Foundation Futures CIO Number 1188809)  in 2020. This was set up to meet the increasing and complex needs of our communities.

We work with, and feed around 60 young people a week and 20 adults

Youth Provision

The young people who take part in our Youth Groups are at the heart of everything we do. We know it's important that they are listened to and understood. For every grant programme they have taken part in planning, researching and writing our application for funding.

In response to the needs of our community and in partnership with our Youth Panel, our youth provision now supports children and young people aged 5-21 years.

Adult community groups

Our work with young people highlighted the need for programmes for adutls and parents. In response to our community we created a Community Panel and we have delivered a range of projects and clubs supporting wellbeing, financial literacy and budgeting, sewing and cooking.
