Alternative Education
Programmes
Real support, true connections, a future you believe in.

At Foundation Futures, we understand that mainstream school isn't the right fit for everyone. Traditional classrooms can sometimes feel overwhelming, stressful, or simply disconnected from how you learn best.
Our alternative education programmes are designed to change that. We offer bespoke, trauma-responsive, and inclusive spaces where every person is accepted and valued for exactly who they are. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, disengaged from standard lessons, have experienced trauma, or simply need a different environment where you are truly listened to, we are here to walk with you.
We focus on the whole person. We know that feeling safe, learning to regulate big emotions, and building self-belief are just as important as any academic goal.

Programmes
We support young people in Secondary School (Key Stages 3 and 4.) Our groups are small and supportive, capped at 8 young people with 2 consistent staff members, ensuring you always see a familiar, trusted face.
We run all programmes at our space in Pottery Bank Community Centre. We also take groups out as much as possible to take part in other actvities.

A slower paced, deeply nurturing setting for young people experiencing anxiety, isolation, or school refusal (EBSNA). We focus on gentle, creative activities to build friendships and trust, by building confidence and developing social skills. A space to open up and feel truly yourself.
